US land-based salmon farmer Whole Oceans has appointed Orfa Cabrera as its hatchery manager.
Cabrera brings more than three decades of experience in the salmon industry, including more than 20 years at hatcheries in her native Chile.
She has wide experience working with recirculating systems, having previously worked as freshwater manager at Marine Harvest Chile, a hatchery that produced 40 million fry.
