Land-based salmon farmer Salmon Evolution's smolt batch and Phase 1 construction plans are progressing as planned, with its first harvest on track for the fourth quarter, the company noted in its 2022 first quarter results.
The Norwegian salmon farmer posted revenue during the first quarter, the result of external sales of smolt.
Revenue amounted to NOK 6.8 million (€580,000/$630,000) during the first quarter, while earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) were negative a 10 million (€970,000/$1 million).
