Land-based fish farming group Nordic Aquafarms is splitting in two, with the European arm to focus solely on raising yellowtail kingfish, while the US arm will plough ahead with farming salmon.
The group’s plans for two giant land-based salmon facilities in the United States will continue under the original company banner -- Nordic Aquafarms Group -- while the group’s operations in Norway and Denmark have been merged into the newly established company Nordic Aquafarms Europe.
