Badinotti Group, an Italian company making netting for aquaculture and fishing operators, on Nov. 15 acquired Croatia-based Pensito Adriatik as part of its consolidation strategy.
"Our offer in fish containment and associated services for the aquaculture industry has been growing in recent years and the purchase of Pensito is consolidating the growth strategy of our market," Badinotti CEO Christian Torres said.
Pensito Adriatik supplies cages, pontoons, pallets, and plastic bins to the aquaculture industry. Badinotti had previous arrangements with the company prior to the acquisition.
