Traces of infectious salmon anemia (ISA) have potentially been detected at a Norwegian salmon farm owned by Norway Royal Salmon in Korsnes, according to a recent stock exchange announcement.
The site holds about 800,000 fish weighing 2 kilograms each.
The extent of the infection is not yet known. The company is currently waiting for results to confirm the presence of ISA.
