Camilla Aadland has been appointed as news editor across IntraFish sister publications Fiskeribladet, IntraFish.no and Tekfisk.

She comes from the position of editor at Tekfisk, Fiskeribladet and IntraFish's website on technology and research in the seafood industry.

"Camilla and her colleagues have done an impressive job of building our new website," said Fiskeribladet, IntraFish.no and Tekfisk Publisher Oystein Hage. "Tekfisk has, over the last 1.5 years, become the most important niche site for R&D in the seafood industry."

"With Camilla as the new news editor, the goal is to make the content of all the three publications even more relevant. We will set the agenda both inside and outside the seafood industry. We will further develop our content with more in-depth journalism, more comments and insightful analyzes,” said Hage.

Fiskeribladet is already the most important news provider and debate platform for the seafood industry. IntraFish.no is a leading website for the Norwegian aquaculture industry, and Tekfisk has in just over a year grown to become Norway's most important news source on technology in the seafood industry.

"I look forward to working even more closely with all the good employees in Fiskeribladet, IntraFish and Tekfisk," said Aadland, who has previous experience on Norwegian publications Teknisk Ukeblad, Bergens Tidende and Sysla. "We are facing an exciting time, and I am sure that we will continue to deliver a lot of good journalism going forward. The seafood industry is a very important industry, and I am proud and humbled to lead the editorial work in three publications that cover this industry well and thoroughly."

"Our journalism should still be critical, honest and have a clear voice within our own niche. We will also be the most important meeting place for debates in the industry," said Hage.
