Raanan Fish Feed, which currently produces around 44,000 metric tons of starter and grow-out feed at its facilities in Israel and Ghana, is looking to expand aggressively in the coming five years.

IntraFish visited the company in Israel, getting an insight look into its current operations.

Founded by CEO Raanan Berzak in 1998, the company started out as an importer of fish feed in cooperation with an international feed supplier and later together with Dutch feed company Coppens International.

By 2001, Berzak had built his own extrusion plant in Israel in Miluot, north of Haifa, Israel, but it wasn't until 2005 that the company started to look at export markets.
