IFFO director general to replace GAA's Wally Stevens

Andrew Mallison, director general at IFFO (The Marine Ingredients Organisation), has been named executive director of the Global Aquaculture Alliance (GAA), taking over from longtime director Wally Stevens, a source familiar with the situation told IntraFish.

Prior to joining IFFO in 2011, Mallison was director of standards and licensing at the Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) and a former global seafood sourcing manager for British retailer Marks & Spencer.

Mallison was selected as one of the top 100 Most Influential Seafood Executives by IntraFish Media in 2012.
