Icicle Seafoods' top salmon farming exec joins Marel

The longtime head of Icicle Seafoods' salmon farming operations has joined seafood processing group Marel as vice president.

Alan Cook, a vice president with Icicle Seafoods for six years, played a pivotal role in Icicle's Washington State-based salmon farming operations.

Prior to Icicle, Cook worked with Cooke Aquaculture's Salmones Cupquelan. He began his career at Marine Harvest.

Icicle Seafoods was acquired by Cooke in June.
