SalMar-owned Icelandic salmon farmer Arnarlax launched an aquaculture training program in partnership with the Icelandic College of Fisheries to boost its employees' expertise in operating activities and work safety
"We aim to maximize production, and thus it's vital to increase employee expertise," CEO Bjorn Hembre said.
The program is independent but corresponds to one semester of study in fisheries technology at the college.
