Ice Fish Farm selected AKVA group to supply two AC600VR feed barges for the company's production sites in eastern Iceland.
The barges, with storage capacities of 600 metric tons, can be delivered with a flexible feeding system that allows the feed to be transported in a conveyor system from storage silos to day tanks.
They can feed several pens at the same time or switch between different types of feed.
Oslo-listed Ice Fish Farm, owned by Norwegian aquaculture conglomerate NTS, runs salmon farming operations in the northeast of Iceland.
