Australian's Huon Aquaculture is projecting lower harvest volumes for the year. The harvest is expected to drop from 20,000 metric tons to 19,000 metric tons, the company said in its latest market outlook update. the decrease is being blamed on a warmer summer and a jellyfish bloom.

The moon jellyfish bloom occurred in the Huon River and D’Entrecasteaux Channel in November 2018 and although an infrequent event -- the last happened in the summer of 2012/13.
