Norwegian aquaculture tech supplier Akva Group on Friday announced stronger first quarter results driven by good activity across all the markets the group is present in.

Earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) jumped around 64 percent in the quarter to NOK 97 million (€9.9 million/$11.1 million).

Revenues, meanwhile, grew 45 percent to NOK 852 million (€86.8 million/$97.4 million) year-on-year.

Cage-based technology revenue and margins were up in all regions of its activity except Europe and the Middle East.
