Harvesting and fishmeal giant snaps up aquaculture equipment group

Bergen-based Pelagia, a major producer of fishmeal and fish oil as well as various pelagic products, acquired 100 percent of the company.

The deal with allow the new group to provide customers with fewer interfaces, lower operating costs and better resource utilisation, according to Pelagia CEO Egil Magne Haugstad.
