Grieg Seafoods total harvest volume for the fourth quarter of 2021 was approximately 23,700 metric tons -- up 17 percent on the same period in 2020 -- resulting in a total volume of 75,600 metric tons for the year, the group said in a trading update on Friday.

This excludes volumes from the Shetland operation, which was sold on Dec. 15.

Although an increase of 6 percent over 2020, originally the company was targeting 80,000 metric tons for 2021.

The group’s operations in Rogaland produced 7,300 metric tons during the quarter, and its Finnmark farms produced 12,400 metric tons.
