Grieg Seafood lost about 200,000 pre-smolt in a fire that broke out in the oxygen delivery system Wednesday at the company's pre-smolt department in its hatchery in Girlsta, Scotland, the company confirmed to IntraFish.

The Shetland Fire Brigade was immediately called and no employees were injured from the event, according to the company.
