Scotland-based seafood trading platform Rooser has raised millions in a new round of funding supported by Google Ventures and other venture capital firms, the company said Monday.

Rooser raised $23 million (€21.4 million) in a series A-funding round this month led by VC firm Index Ventures. Google Ventures and Point Nine Capital also invested in the round. Previous investments of Index Ventures include food delivery groups Deliveroo and Just Eat.

The investment will allow Rooser to scale its trading platform, the company said.
