Olvea Fish Oils has joined the Sustianable Fisheries Partnership's (SFP) Target 75 initiative, which aims to see at least 75 percent of global seafood volumes moving towards sustainability.

Olvea is a family-owned group which operates two factories in France and Morocco.

As a Target 75 Champion, Olvea commits to the mission of reducing environmental impacts from the fishing industry. The company reports a turnover of €115 million ($127.9 million) from more than 55,000 tons of oils sold annually.

Engaging fish oil companies is an essential aspect to ensuring the sustainability of the raw materials used, said Carmen Gonzalez-Valles, buyer engagement manager at SFP.
