Estonian salmon processor M.V. Wool is temporarily shutting down production in the beginning of 2020, after its product was traced to a listeria outbreak in Denmark, Postimees reported.

The years-old listeria outbreak in Denmark has made nine people sick since 2016, and also killed two this year, the Danish Veterinary and Food Administration (VTA) revealed in March.

The company submitted its 2020 action plan to VTA that includes its plant to temporarily shut down production at the beginning of 2020 to thoroughly clean the facilities.
