Danish feed producer Aller Aqua is targeting "at least" 40 percent growth in volumes sold by 2019, a target outlined in its "Grow Together 2019" strategy.

The growth will come among other things due to investments in a new feed production plant in Zambia -- in cooperation with Yalelo Fisheries -- and another one in Qingdao, China.

Both are slated to start producing in the second quarter of 2017, Hans Erik Bylling, CEO and owner of the family-run company, told IntraFish.

"We expect a nice growth over the next few years, aligned with the general growth in the aquaculture sector," he said.
