EXPOPESCA exhibitor Environmental Technologies Inc. (ETI) of Auburn, Washington, says it continues to refine its Silkstream fish pump, which moves tons of live fish an hour, damage-free.
"The impellerless design," ETI adds, "means that fish encounter no moving parts, and therefore there is no stress, no damage and no crowding."
Silkstream pumps are at work in more than 100 fish farms around the world, moving fish between cages and also in grading and harvesting operations.
Coming into production is ETI's new 6in model Silkstream.
