Charoen Pokphands Foods (CP Foods) is shifting toward organic shrimp farming and invested in a closed-operation, land-based prototype farm in Thailand to develop new and sustainable ways of farming.

The farm was set up in in Bangsrakao, Chantaburi, about 245 kilometers east of Bangkok, covering an area of 960,000 square meters.

It was initiated as part of the company's effort to grow sustainably into the future and to better manage potential threats to shrimp farming processes.
