Charoen Pokphand Foods Plc (CPF) and Trang Aquaculture Cooperative signed a memorandum of understanding to push large-scale white shrimp farming.
CPF will share Trang Aquaculture its '3 Clean' principles techniques, which addresses shrimp disease in a sustainable manner while increasing production output by three to fourfold, increases farming efficiency and reduces production costs.
Trang Aquaculture President Anant Jaranayothin said the group made the decision after seeing Kung Kraben Fisheries Cooperative was successful last year with CPF’s '3 Clean' principles, which focus on cleanliness of pond water and floors as well as disease-free baby shrimp.
