Equipment supplier Akva group's land-based aquaculture division has signed a deal with Cooke Aquaculture with the potential for delivering several larger land-based smolt projects.
The first of these is a project in Chile. The contract is expected to be finalized in the third quarter of 2019, Akva said in a statement.
Deliveries for the Chilean projects are estimated to be from the fourth quarter of 2019 to the final quarter of 2021.
