Chile's National Fisheries and Aquaculture Service Sernapesca said it is ending contingency actions in the Aysen region and will concentrate on the Los Lagos region following recent mass die-off incidents linked to low oxygen levels in the water and algal bloom outbreaks.
By Friday 99.6 percent of more than 2,650 metric tons of dead fish had been cleared from cages in the Aysen region.
