Cermaq Chile said it will harvest the remaining 561,000 salmon at its Ensenada Rys site in the southern Magallanes region of the South American nation.

It follows the detection of the ISA (infectious salmon anemia) virus in three further pens at the site.

Since the intitial detection of ISA in November, Cermaq has been managing the situation in close cooperation with National Fisheries and Aquaculture Service Sernapesca.
