Vicente Criscio, CEO of Brazilian tilapia producer GeneSeas, has left the company, citing personal reasons, the executive confirmed to IntraFish.

"It is time to leave," he said.

Criscio, who is also a partner in business restructuring firm Vincerre, declined to comment further on GeneSeas, citing a non-disclosure agreement.

But he said he plans to seek a new position in the seafood industry.

He joined GeneSeas in 2019, later taking over as CEO from Roberto Haag who left in December 2020.
