The offshore advocacy effort known as Stronger America Through Seafood (SATS) believes there is ample opportunity to move the needle at the federal level this year, and has been fighting for legislation to make offshore aquaculture in the United States a reality for several years.

Now, it will have to do so without its campaign manager.

Sarah Brenholt, who took over as the lobbyist group's campaign manager in September of last year, recently left the role to join Cargill as its director of federal government relations in Washington DC.
