Investors and industry stakeholders are dedicating a lot of focus on planning for the explosion of land-based salmon projects, but feed suppliers such as Skretting are waiting patiently for production to materialize before investing.
"The East Coast of North America can well be served from our facility in Canada, but if and when the volumes build up in the area, we will consider building a new feed mill," Skretting Commercial Director Evy Vikene told IntraFish. "We are looking at a plan and the most optimal way to serve that market, which we see coming."
