Norway-based Blue Ocean Technology AS, which specializes in sludge treatment for aquaculture operations, has appointed Havard Pihlstrom as its new head of service and aftermarket.
Pihlstrom will be responsible for building up the company's service network as well as managing service and maintenance operations in Norway and internationally, including the startup and testing of new installations and servicing and maintenance of Blue Ocean facilities.
He comes from a position as subsea project engineer at ClampOn, with previous experience at SeaSmart and CCB, among others.
Blue Ocean Technology recently signed a deal with American Aquafarms, the Norwegian-backed closed-containment salmon farming project in Maine, for two large sludge treatment plants.
