The public share offering for the sale of 100 percent of AquaChile launched Friday, formally beginning the process of Agrosuper's takeover of the group.

The Puchi and Fisher families agreed to sell their participation in Holding Salmones Limitada and Inversiones Patagonia Limitada -- through which they hold a controlling stake of 67 percent in AquaChile -- to Agrosuper for an agreed price of $0.73 (€0.65) per share.

Following the launch of the share offer, minority shareholders owning the remaining 33 percent will voluntarily decide whether to sell their participation in AquaChile to Agrosuper for $0.73
