Norway Royal Salmon's Arctic Offshore Farming division has invested in a new type of feed barge built by aquaculture equipment supplier Akva.
"This is the toughest barge AKVA group has ever made, and it can handle weather from all sides," said Akva Project Manager Kent Ims Borsheim.
The feed and service barge is the first to be designed with a bottom outlet for feed hoses to use all the sides of the barge for receiving feed.
