Ana Moris has joined aquaculture equipment and services giant Akva as digital director for Chilean and international operations.
She was previously digital manager at aquaculture technology company ScaleAQ.
Prior to that, Moris spent more than seven years at Steinsvik Gruppen, including a period as aquaculture consultant for information systems.
Moris's arrival appears timely.
A massive cyber attack, which delayed publication of the Akva's fourth quarter and full year results earlier this year, is likely to cost the group around $6 million (€5 million).
