French pharmaceutical behemoth Virbac, the seventh largest of its kind in the world, has opened its first research and development center dedicated to warmwater aquaculture.
The center, in Dong Nai province, Vietnam, will enable Virbac, already a leading animal health player in aquaculture, to work with local players to carry out studies on locally identified pathogenic microorganisms that can be used to develop vaccines and therapeutic solutions that can then be exported to other countries.
