In the nearly two months since Russian military forces invaded Ukraine, governments, private companies and NGOs have -- either by pressure or choice -- made moves to isolate Russia, in an unprecedented global reaction.

Since the Feb. 24 invasion, a steady drip of seafood retailers, exporters and importers have halted business transactions with Russia, creating fears of inflationary pressure and leaving the global supply chain scrambling for alternatives to fill the void left behind, particularly in whitefish and crab.
