The Association of Genuine Alaska Pollock Producers (GAPP), a trade group of US pollock producers promoting single-frozen Alaska pollock, is honing a marketing campaign urging German consumers to seek out US-harvested single-frozen pollock in their products.

The concept for the campaign has been in development for months, but GAPP Program Director Pat Shanahan told IntraFish the group is aiming for a spring launch, and is currently developing concepts together with a German advertising and marketing firm.
