Spot prices for Norwegian farmed salmon will drop below the NOK 55 (€ 5.70/$6.40) mark per kilo for all weight classes this week, exporters told IntraFish.
Little has been traded for next week, and the industry is focused on purchasing residual fish, another salmon supplier said.
For that reason, the prices are subject to uncertainty but may end up between NOK 53 (€5.50/$6.20) and NOK 57 (€ 5.90/$6.70) for the most popular sizes, he said.
Prices are flat for sizes over 5 kilos, a third source discussed.
