The UK government, led by Prime Minister Boris Johnson, has so far failed to provide any detailed information to an increasingly desperate Scottish seafood sector on how it will be compensated for Brexit-related disruptions currently costing producers and processors more than £1 million (€1.1 million/$1.4 million) a day.
Last week, when questioned by a committee of lawmakers, Johnson indicated compensation would be made available.
