Troubled land-based salmon producer Atlantic Sapphire said it plans to stick with its current management team despite a string of setbacks over the past year, with new operational changes aimed at refocusing the producer on a less risky path, said CEO John Andreassen during a company update with analysts and investors on Tuesday.

Most recently news of a blaze that gutted the company’s site in Denmark last month was compounded by its fish being dropped by retailer Giant Eagle, which cited product quality as a reason for poor sales.
