Norway sold 21,818 metric tons of salmon in week 36, according to the latest statistics from the Norwegian Seafood Council. Fresh salmon, head-on, accounted for more than 80 percent.

Exports of fresh fillets were up 16 percent last week to 2,078 metric tons, while the price was down almost 8.6 percent to NOK 88.28 ($9.18/€8.25) per kilo. Frozen fillets were up 41 percent to 1,140 tons, and the price was marginally down by just over 1 percent to NOK 102.11
