Spanish tuna giant Grupo Calvo launched an environmental project to add value to the non-hazardous waste generated by the group, reports La Vanguardia.

The “Calvo Zero Waste” project has already been implemented at all of its processing plants in Spain and it will be put in place throughout the rest of Calvo’s facilities across the world in 2018.

The aim of the project is to eventually eliminate all non-hazardous waste.
