Processing equipment manufacturer Baader, which is headquartered in Lubeck, Germany, has opened a new 11,000-square-foot warehouse in the United Kingdom that increases the company's storage footprint by tenfold.

Baader chose Rugby, England, as the new site, citing its "good connection to motor and railway, enabling the company to strengthen and fasten its supply chain and service offerings."

The new warehouse will mainly be holding spare parts for the company's poultry and seafood processing equipment.

Formerly, the UK office was located in Aberdeen, Scotland. The Aberdeen office, which was 1,000 square feet, has now been closed and all activities moved to Rugby.
