German processing giant Baader introduced upgrades to its filleting machine, as well as several other of its seafood equipment at last week's salmon@baader event in Lubeck, Germany.
The Baader 581 now comes with a belly trim option.
It also showcased the Baader 75, the newest member of the Baader salmon line and probably its smallest.
Its predecessor already "provided excellence in pulling pin bones out of every individual fillet," the company said.
With the Baader 75, this technology has been developed to the next level by integrating new safety features, further reducing weight and strengthening its power with a new electric engine. With a quick release, the tool can be instantly cleaned after production stop.
