Nippon Suisan Kaisha (Nissui) has reported 30 new cases of COVID-19 in the last month, 25 of which have cropped up at its Hachioji food processing plant in Tokyo.

The other cases were spread around its Funabashi and Himeji factories as well as its Tokyo Innovation Centre and Nagoya branch office.

Nissui's Hachioji factory houses fresh food processor Chilldy, which processes a range of foods, including seafood, for convenience stores such as FamilyMart.
