Food processor Signature Foods Belgium has withdrawn a So Apero line of shrimp in garlic because of the possible presence of listeria monocytogenes, Le Soir.be reports.

The company is performing the product recall in conjunction with Belgium's food safety authorities.

Validity dates on the products in 90-gram packs run until Feb. 14.

The shrimp line is sold by Intermarche, Alvo and Spar Lambrechts retail chains.

Consumers are advised not to eat the products but return them to stores where they were purchased for a refund.
