Norwegian salmon prices are stable following Christmas and a quiet week with only a few working days and low harvesting.
“It is a stable week price-wise, even though there is some fish available. There is a lot of small fish,” an exporter told IntraFish.
“When it comes to 6 kilos and above, prices are good, around NOK 67 – NOK 68, most of it to be exported by air, and the same happens with fish of 5-6 kilos.”
The market is uncertain about how prices will continue to develop, with expectations that there will be more availability.
