Spot prices for farmed Norwegian salmon are at NOK 46.46 (€4.36/$5.15) in week 36, according to latest Fish Pool Index figures.
Overall exports of fresh farmed salmon for the week reached 21,788 metric tons, up 16 percent from the week prior.
While Norway's exports are rising, Chile is just now looking to bounce back, as producers turn to the task of restoring the Chinese market following the end of a seven-day national truckers strike that prevented shipments to main markets in the United States and Brazil.
