Chilean salmon farmer Multiexport reported a decrease in earnings and sales over the third quarter of the year on the back of lower harvests.
Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) fell 33.2 percent compared with the same period a year earlier, to $18.9 million (€16.8 million), while sales fell 9 percent to $104.7 million (€93.1 million).
In terms of volumes, Multiexport harvested 16,495 metric tons of salmon, of which 15,701 metric tons were Atlantic salmon and 794 metric tons were coho, this is a decrease of 5.5
