Peterhead, Scotland-based whitefish processor Thistle Seafoods is undergoing a management shuffle, according to announcements from Companies House.

Lyndsay Elizabeth Scatterty, Elizabeth Aitken Scatterty, and Anthony John Scatterty have left their posts on the board of directors.

Meanwhile, Stephen Alexander Main and Donald James Crichton have been appointed directors as of Jan. 31.

A representative from the company declined to comment further to IntraFish.

Thistle Seafoods reported a £3.2 million (€3.6 million/$4 million) profit in 2018, bouncing back from a £3.4 million (€3.8 million/$4.2 million) loss in 2017 when the company was beset by a number of problems.

During 2018, management kept a tight reign on working capital, improving cash flow and renegotiating prices with Thistle's main customers. Despite this, sales were flat at £89.5 million (€101.3 million/$111.7 million).

Thistle is one of the largest family-owned manufacturers of seafood in the UK and Europe.
