Alaska seafood processor Peter Pan Seafood has hired a new chief financial officer as it grows its value-added domestic products.
On Thursday, the company announced it hired Mike Galan for the role. Throughout his more than 20-year career, Galan has risen to top finance positions at Trident Seafoods, Weyerhaeuser Company and Hartung Glass.
He comes to the role from Seattle-based Hartung Glass Industries, where he served as its chief financial officer for eight years. Prior to that he served as Trident's financial planning and analysis director in Seattle for six years.
